My Experiences
Since childhood I am facing this problem. When I read Homoeopathy and learnt about traditional medicine it was too late. I have to go for the Laser surgery. As Homoeopath I have found Physostigma very useful. Famous Homoeopath of Chhattisgarh Dr. B.R.Guha was also using this remedy with much success. I have seen its use and its promising effects while learning from Dr. Arun Nanhoraya of Jabalpur city. This treatment requires much time and patience. I have found Cyclamen effective in some cases specially in case of flickering in front of eyes. The natives and traditional healers of Chhattisgarh suggest many home remedies for Myopia. The use of Triphala powder as eyewash gives good results in long term. The patients are advised to walk barefoot on lawn grass specially in during winter mornings. The patients are also advised to massage Sarson (Mustard) oil on thumbs of both legs before bath. It is considered good for normal health of eyes also. The well known traditional healers of Bastar region Shri Vishal Bharat was using Peng (Celastrus paniculata) seed oil both internally as well as externally in treatment of Myopia. He was claiming that he has cured over 100 child patients through this oil. The use of Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) root powder with cow milk gives good results. The application of Red flowered Butea monosperma juice into the eyes is also considered beneficial.
