5. Fruits contain Gedunin, azadiradion, azadirone and nimbiol

6. Seed kernel contains salannin and azadirachtin.

1. Leaves contain wax, myricyl alchohal, flavonoids isorhamnetin, kaempferol, and anthroaquinonerhein and emodin.

1. Whole plant contains following alkaloides ajamalicine, vinceine, vincane, sitsirkine, lochnerine, perivine, catharanthine, vindoline, vinoisidine, cavincine, animocalline, pericalline, rovidine, catharanthamine, catharine etc.
