Herbal Remedies...

First of all i would like to make it clear that herbal remedies are not a substitute but rather an enhancement of modern medicine and are intended to help with symptoms and aide in the bodies own ability to heal. Also if you have any alergies you should be careful about what you take. the below herbs are easy to find in stores dried and row fresh in your own garden. the most common way to use the below herbs is to steep (let soak in boiled water) for 10 minutes and then remove the herb and add some honey as you like and drink as a tea. - Rose's Home on the Web

PMS Mix Lemon Balm, Basil Chamomile & Catnip (This has an opposite effect on people as opposed to to cats), Raspberry
NAUSEA Mix Basil, Chamomile, Mint, Catnip
COLD or FLU Mix Lemon Balm, Cinnamon, Basil Mint
HEADACHES Corn Husks, Mint
SUNBURN BATH (This one you put in your tub prior to Bathing) Mix Basil, Lemon Balm, Cucumber, Aloe Vera, Vinegar
DEPRESSION Rosemary, St. John's Wort
IMMUNE SYSTEM Echinacca, Goldenseal, Basil, Vitamine E
FACIAL INFUSION (This is made as a tea then stored in the frige for no more than 2 weeks, when it gets cloudy throw it away) mix 1/2 cucumber, Aloe Vera, Thyme, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, Mint, Chamomile. (Steep for 30 minutes then strain and apply liquid to face for 10 minutes)
TEEN FACIAL INFUSION Mix Thyme, Cinnamon, Rosemary, Aloe, Mint, Basil. Use Same as above
ASTRINGENTS Witch Hazel, Thyme, Mints, Cinnamon, Rosemary
INSECT BITES Toothpaste, Basil, Salt and water paste
BED WETTING 6-8 OZ of Cranberry Juice 1 hour Before bed
HICCUPS 1 Tablespoon of Peanut Butter or 1 tablespoon of sugar (I use the Peanut Butter but my kids prefer the sugar)
HEARTBURN Mint Tea or 1 tablespoon brown sugar or 2 tablespoons of Lemon juice added to 1/2 cup warm water
SINUS PROBLEMS Bee Pollen tablets taken daily over a period of time can keep the problem from happening at all (THANKS MOM)
