Properties: Antibacterial, anticatarrh, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, balsamic, cicatrix, expectorant, parasiticide, and stimulant.
Benefits: Asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, colds, coughs, croup, eczema, laryngitis, low blood pressure, pruritis, rashes, relieves itch of scabies sores and ringworm, rheumatism, sores, and wounds.
Blends Well With: Patchouli, petitgrain, rose, sandalwood, ylang ylang, spices, floral and oriental bases.
Of Interest: It is used to flavor alcohol and soft drinks. Commercial use in cough syrups.
