Customers frequently ask about the warranty and reliability of digital ballasts. This is a valid concern considering some of the inferior warranties offered by other digital ballast manufacturers in the industry. We have spent the last three years listening to customer concerns and addressing many of the issues which can lead to ballast failure. Our latest versions of the Lumatek Digital Ballast include internal RF shielding, detachable input and output cords, a replaceable fuse, and enhanced bulb compatibility. You can feel confident that you are selling the most reliable ballast on the market today.

5 Year Warranty
Lumatek warrants its digital ballasts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty term is 3-years full/2-years pro-rated beginning on the date of invoice. Prorated Schedule: 30% of full price at years 4 and 5. Misuse, abuse, or failure to follow instructions are not covered. Please note that cutting the input or output cords on the older version of the Lumatek ballast will void your warranty. Lumatek will, at our option, repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty that are returned to your place of purchase. To request warranty service, you must return your ballast to your place of purchase along with your original receipt. Purchase date is based on the original sales receipt. Please save your receipt. A copy is required for all warranty services.

Lumatek Return Procedure
In the event a Lumatek fails it is simple to handle your returns. All returns are now processed through Hydrofarm, our authorized distributor. Contact your Hydrofarm Returns department and they can issue RA numbers and provide assistance.
